SBA is driven by their mission to build a better and brighter future for all those impacted by Spina Bifida. Fueled by healthcare providers, parents, adults, and caregivers, SBA is committed to helping people affected by Spina Bifida through: research, education & support, clinical care, network building and advocacy.
In addition to clinical care, SBA emphasizes education, support, and network-building through its National Resource Center, offering valuable resources for individuals, families, and healthcare providers. SBA also provides in-person and virtual programs on topics ranging from health and independence to mental well-being. The association is equally committed to advocacy, ensuring that the needs and voices of those living with Spina Bifida are heard by policymakers, advocating for access to comprehensive, coordinated care for all.
