Patient Care Coordinator

Strive Medical's Patient Care Coordinator team facilities all new orders from receipt of the order until the order has been placed and shipped out. The Patient Care Coordinator position is very fast-paced and requires very strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. This position requires you to communicate with patients, referral sources as well as insurance companies on a daily basis.

Main Responsibilities / Duties

  • Intake and process supply orders
  • Verify patient insurance benefits
  • Review prescriptions and determine whether or not the patient qualifies for products according to insurance guidelines
  • Must communicate with patient and referral source regarding order
  • Product research and availability
  • Product purchasing

Requirements/Skills

  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must have strong multi-tasking skills 
  • Prior Microsoft Office experience is a plus

Medical Supply Specialist

Medical Supply Specialists serve patients by building relationships with referral sources such as wound care centers, urologist and rehab facilities in order to supply medical supplies to patients all over the United States. Our Medical Supply Specialist must be able to build and maintain strong business relationships and have the ability to perform presentations and demonstration in-services. In order to be a successful Medical Supply Specialist you must have great communication and organization skills.

Main Responsibilities/Duties

  • Build and Maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Facilitate medical supply orders between referral source, patient and Patient Care Coordinator
  • Presentations and in-services to present company as well as products and services
  • Weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Become an expert in wound care and urological products

 

Requirements/Skills

  • Great communication and organizational skills a must
  • Medical sales experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must be able to travel up to 75%
  • Must be able to give presentations
  • Follow-up skills are a must

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Accounts Receivable Specialist reviews and researches patient accounts and claims that have not yet paid. They also submit documentation and letters for appeals, redeterminations and audits. Account receivable specialist must have a strong background in insurance collections and be able to work large volume of accounts on a daily basis.

Main Responsibilities/Duties

  • Research high volume of accounts in cold AR
  • Prepare documentation for audits, appeals and redeterminations
  • Mail secondary claims that need to be resubmitted to carriers
  • Resubmit claims that have been worked
  • Work daily denials for assigned state(s)

 

Requirements/Skills

  • Great communication and organizational skills a must
  • Medical collections experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to work a high volume of claims on a daily basis
