Strive Medical Sponsors the 4th Annual, "This One's for the Boys!"

Irving, TX - “This One’s for the Boys!” Prostate Cancer Walk & Run is the only event in Southern Nevada supporting the men in the community and promoting prostate cancer detection, prevention, and awareness. This year Strive Medical sponsors the 4th Annual Event to be held on Saturday, September 27th, 2014 at the UNLV Track and Field Stadium. This is Strive Medical second consecutive year to sponsor event.

The main goal is to educate the public and community about this too-infrequently-addressed disease. Contributions will be donated to UsTOO Prostate Cancer Support Group and the C.A.R.E. Foundation – both dedicated to cancer patients in need.

“According to the American Cancer Society, prostate cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer deaths in men, and one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime.”
